In the EMoT project, a test center is being set up to meet the increasingly complex requirements for charging processes, charging infrastructure and energy grid integration of electric vehicles. As a central contact point for companies and research institutes from the electromobility sector, hardware and software of charging infrastructure systems will be tested and improved here, and corresponding standards will be developed to increase the reliability of charging processes, reduce complexities, and thus optimize the user-friendliness of the charging process of electric vehicles. The Chair of Management Accounting participates in the project with business modeling, with the determination of decision-relevant factors in the standardization of charging infrastructure, the estimation of societal and economic benefits, and the preparation of guidelines for the economic viability of the test center. The project is funded by the BMWK. Project partners of the Chair of Management Accounting in the EMoT project are Hubject GmbH and the TU Berlin with the DAI- Lab (Digital Artificial Intelligence).
