The core idea of "Flipped Classroom" is to swap the lecture and the individual rework. In the "Flipped Classroom" students prepare the new learning contents at home by the learning videos before the lecture. These are divided in topic-related sessions and can be adapted individually to the own learning speed.
The lecture time will then be used as an interaction between the lecturer and the student. Thereby students can already apply their newly acquired knowledge in discussions or even eliminate uncertainties.
The Chair of Management Accounting offers the course "Managerial Accounting & Bookkeeping (Accounting I)" as a "Flipped Classroom".
